Fuel. It’s what we all need. From our vehicles to our homes, even our businesses, it’s what keeps us running. Most our lives we have had little control of the price and supply of fuel – until now.
Sunbeam is committed to helping people around the world become more independent and self reliant. We have designed our vehicles to take advantage of fuels we can each produce ourselves – electricity. Our vehicles can also take advantage of fuels that are not in short supply- such as natural gas and propane. We have also retained the ability to use current fuels, like gasoline, that may be expensive but are available for convenience.
Sunbeam Vehicles – Like a Train
The most fuel efficient vehicles in the world are freight trains. You have heard their powerful diesel engines, but did you know Freight Trains are actually electric vehicles? That’s right; freight trains are classified as “Diesel over Electric” vehicles. That big diesel engine you hear is actually a highly efficient electric generator that powers the train’s electric motors. Just like a Sunbeam, except OUR on-board generators can run on your choice of gasoline, propane or natural gas!
Sunbeam’s are the first “Gasoline/Propane/Natural Gas over Electric” or “Quad-Fuel™” vehicles. You can fuel (charge) your Sunbeam on Pure electric power by simply plugging it into any common household outlet, and if you like, never use any other fuel. But if you want to greatly increase your cars range you can add your choice of fuel to the vehicles on-board generator.
